Long before Lionel Richie's kids were reality stars, before Lionel made some awful MOR songs in the 80's, before Lionel's disco era Commodores, the funk based version of the band that had been together since the late 60's were making great music. Here is Lionel and his band with the funky self-titled track off of their 1974 debut album, Machine Gun.
