Screaming Trees were one of those Northwest bands that I always peripherally associated with the Grunge scene. This was probably more of a geographic association than a musical one, but it's how my mind worked at the time. In fact, though, I was not a huge fan of the band. This was probably due to the fact that their big hit, Nearly Lost You, was overplayed. As a result, I didn't care to look too much deeper. Years later, though, I was fortunate enough to discover their first album, Clairvoyence, which was released in 1986. Here is the first track off of their debut.
