Often called the "American Deep Purple", this hard rockin' late 70's L.A. band released three albums that all sound pretty good. Unfortunately, when you are compared to a great earlier band, it's hard to make a name on your own merits. And that's a shame as the music sounds more like a precursor to the 80's metal sound.
