Johnny Almond was a saxophonist who spent much of his time as a session musician in the 60's. He recorded with John Mayall, Chicken Shack, Fleetwood Mac, and many others. In the early 70's, Johnny went on to form Mark-Almond with guitarist Jon Mark. Inbetween those two parts of his career, Johnny Almond went on to record a couple of albums under his own direction. Here he is off of 1969's Patent Pending.
