Don Nix was a country/folk/southern rock musician and producer. He started out with the Mar-Keys in the early 60's. By the 70's, he was producing the likes of Leon Russell, John Mayall, and George Harrison. In fact, the Beatle guitarist even guested on Don's 1976 solo album, Gone Too Long, playing some slide guitar. Here is an original track off of that release.
